Agadir is taking a major step forward in its digital transformation with the development of a Unified Smart Command Center powered by conversational artificial intelligence. The contract, valued at 5.39 million dirhams, has been awarded to Datastory, a company specializing in intelligent data systems.
This upcoming center is designed to bring together all communication channels between the city administration and its various stakeholders—residents, users, and institutional partners—into a single, streamlined platform. Whether through phone calls, emails, social media, instant messaging, or SMS, every interaction will be centralized and managed under one cohesive system.
The initiative has two primary goals: to standardize how requests and inquiries are handled, and to ensure that every exchange is tracked and documented in detail. By consolidating communication in this way, the city aims to make better use of the data it gathers, using it to inform decisions, guide public policy, and respond more effectively to the needs of the community.
Beyond improving responsiveness, the system is expected to boost overall efficiency across municipal departments. By simplifying communication channels and optimizing how requests are processed, it will facilitate smoother coordination between city services. Over time, this centralized hub is set to radically improve the citizen experience and become a cornerstone in Agadir’s broader efforts to modernize public administration.
