Red Med Capital has appointed Ali Ait Mansour as managing director of Red Med Corporate Finance. Ait Mansour is returning to the group after 10 years in Canada, where he built experience in mergers and acquisitions, fundraising and corporate finance. He first joined Red Med Capital in 2012 as an M&A manager. He stayed until 2016 and worked on several major strategic transactions.
He then joined Bank of Montreal (BMO) in Toronto as an M&A director. During the next decade, he worked on mergers, acquisitions and fundraising deals in Canada and the United States. He also built a strong network among North American private equity funds.
Ait Mansour has also worked in France, including at Société Générale CIB, Technip Energies and Mondelēz International.
Red Med Capital said the appointment brings back an executive who “grew within Red Med Capital” and is returning with “robust international experience and new expertise”.
His appointment gives Red Med Corporate Finance a senior dealmaker with experience across North America, Europe and Morocco. It also adds links to North American private equity investors and international M&A networks.
