The Moroccan Capital Market Authority (AMMC) has officially approved the merger prospectus for the absorption of Industube SA by Aluminium du Maroc SA, under the reference VI/EM/033/2024. This move marks a significant milestone in Aluminium du Maroc’s efforts to fortify its standing in the national market while streamlining its corporate structure.
This strategic merger, which does not require any capital increase for Aluminium du Maroc SA, aligns with the company’s goal of optimizing operational efficiency. Already a wholly owned subsidiary, Industube SA will be fully integrated into Aluminium du Maroc’s operations, allowing the company to unify resources and enhance productivity. Shareholders will have the opportunity to vote on the merger during an Extraordinary General Assembly, scheduled for November 14, 2024.
