Anouar Invest transforms former auto plant into modern biscuit factory

Less than a year after acquiring the former All Parts Industries automotive accessories factory in Had Soualem, Anouar Invest has fully transformed the site into the Modern Biscuit Factory, marking the group’s latest expansion in the confectionery sector. This new facility is the second biscuit production unit for the group, enhancing its capacity to produce a variety of treats including wafers, pastries, shortbread, and cakes.

The Modern Biscuit Factory complements the operations of Best Biscuits Maroc, a subsidiary of Anouar Invest known for its popular brands like Genova, Momo, Eyo’o, Top Cookies, and Sergio, all under the Excelo umbrella. With this strategic acquisition, Best Biscuits Maroc now operates two production units in the Casablanca region, covering a combined area of over 15,000 square meters, which includes both manufacturing and storage spaces.

This move not only expands Anouar Invest’s footprint in the biscuit industry but also optimizes its logistics by having two closely located production facilities. The logistical synergies achieved are crucial for the group as it seeks to fortify its market position against increasing competition.

The competitive landscape in Morocco’s biscuit industry has intensified with the emergence of Next Snacking Industry, a formidable challenger boasting a vast 20,000 square meter production facility in Skhirate. Anouar Invest’s acquisition and conversion of All Parts Industries into the Modern Biscuit Factory are part of a broader external growth strategy aimed at consolidating the group’s leadership in this key sector.
