Auto Nejma took another step forward in its expansion strategy this week by opening a new branch in the heart of Agadir, reinforcing its presence across Morocco. This marks the company’s seventh location in the country, underscoring its ambition to grow its footprint in key regions.

The inauguration ceremony brought together prominent industry figures, including Adil Bennani, Auto Nejma’s CEO, alongside several international partners. Among them were Selvin Govender, Vice President of Mercedes-Benz for the Middle East and Africa, AD Huang, representing Chinese automaker BYD for Africa and the Middle East, and Stavros Stavropoulos, Network Manager for Daimler Truck Middle East. Local authorities were also on hand, with Saaïd Amzazi, Governor of the Souss-Massa region, attending the event.

Located right in the center of Agadir, the new dealership reflects Auto Nejma’s commitment to bringing its services closer to customers while upholding international standards of quality. Spanning a total area of 12,000 square meters, including 5,000 square meters of covered space, the project represents an investment of over 90 million dirhams.

The facility showcases several of the group’s flagship brands. The Mercedes-Benz showroom features the company’s latest MAR20X concept, designed to create an immersive customer experience. For the first time in the region, there’s also a dedicated area for Daimler Trucks, as well as a separate space highlighting BYD’s electric and hybrid vehicles, underlining the company’s focus on the future of mobility.

The new branch doesn’t just focus on sales—it also houses a state-of-the-art after-sales workshop. Designed to handle both Mercedes-Benz and BYD vehicles, the workshop is equipped with 16 workstations, including six fitted with vehicle lifts. It also boasts a high-tech paint booth and a sanding area. Around fifty employees, including twelve specialized technicians, staff the facility, ensuring high-quality service across all brands.

Environmental concerns were clearly top of mind during the design of the site. A water recycling system has been installed, capable of recovering up to 90% of the water used in vehicle washing—an important innovation in a region that faces regular water shortages. This eco-friendly technology allows Auto Nejma to align its industrial operations with environmental stewardship.

The green approach extends beyond water conservation. The branch is equipped with 12 charging stations for electric vehicles, four of which are open to the public. This move supports the local push toward cleaner energy and underscores Auto Nejma’s role in encouraging sustainable transportation in Morocco.

“We want this new facility to strengthen our contribution to the development of the Souss region and provide residents with modern, environmentally friendly infrastructure and the highest quality service,” said Adil Bennani during the event.

With this new opening, Auto Nejma aims to stay at the forefront of Morocco’s evolving automotive market, while continuing to champion sustainable mobility solutions for the future.
