AXA Services Maroc inaugurates new Kenitra site, plans 1,400 new jobs by 2026

AXA Services Maroc (ASM), a leading customer relations center serving AXA’s French subsidiaries (AXA France, AXA Direct France, and AXA Assistance), officially inaugurated a new site in Kenitra on Friday, in the presence of the Minister of Industry and Trade, Ryad Mezzour.

This new site aligns with ASM’s multiple objectives, including enhancing its talent pool by recruiting local professionals and improving the work-life balance for Kenitra employees by reducing commute times. Equipped with photovoltaic panels that reduce energy consumption by 20%, the site also supports ASM’s ecological commitments by lowering the company’s carbon footprint.

Ahead of the site’s opening, ASM also launched a recruitment agency and a training center to streamline the onboarding process for new hires. These initiatives aim to optimize recruitment and ensure new employees are well-prepared for their roles at the new facility.

ASM has ambitious plans to recruit over 1,400 employees between 2024 and 2026 across its various locations, reflecting its commitment to sustainable development and operational excellence.

“We are inaugurating the AXA Services Maroc site in Kenitra today, which solidifies global leaders’ trust in Morocco’s platform, especially through AXA’s long-term and high-quality partnership,” said Ryad Mezzour. He further emphasized the efforts being made to support operators in the development of engineering expertise in Morocco, highlighting the significant role the sector plays in creating industrial value and employment.

Ghita Mezzour, the Minister Delegate in charge of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform, echoed this sentiment, noting the initiative’s contribution to sustainable socio-economic development in the region. She stressed that this project would open up new growth opportunities, especially in terms of job creation.

“For this to succeed, it’s crucial to leverage the potential of young Moroccan talent by offering them the training and technological tools needed to compete internationally. In line with the vision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, which emphasizes the importance of youth in the new development model, the upcoming ‘Digital Morocco 2030’ strategy will focus on training the next generation of specialists in digital and information technologies,” she said. Mezzour also pointed out Morocco’s rising stature as the second-largest outsourcing destination in Africa and the 28th globally, illustrating the country’s commitment to promoting excellence and innovation in this key sector.

Guillaume Borie, CEO of AXA France and a member of AXA’s executive committee, expressed his pride at the opening of the Kenitra site. “This project symbolizes AXA’s continued commitment to Morocco and marks a significant milestone in the expansion of our operations in the Kingdom. With modern and eco-friendly infrastructures, this site allows us to support our growth while fostering local talent in an innovative work environment. We are proud to contribute to an inclusive dynamic, where social and environmental impact remains at the heart of our priorities,” he stated.

Thierry Goument, General Manager of AXA Services Maroc, emphasized the strategic importance of the new Kenitra site in ASM’s expansion plans. “By strengthening our presence in this region, we’re realizing AXA Services Maroc’s ambition to contribute to local economic growth, while creating over 1,400 new jobs by 2026. This project embodies our commitment to integrating local talent, encouraging innovation in IT services, and reinforcing our social responsibility, with a focus on inclusion and ecological transition. We are determined to play an active role in Morocco’s sustainable development.”

Kenitra was chosen for this expansion due to several key factors, including the quality of local higher education, an attractive job market, and a competitive business environment. The site’s central location will improve access to local services, promoting a better work-life balance for employees.

With this new site, AXA Services Maroc reaffirms its dedication to contributing to the economic and social development of Kenitra and the surrounding region.
