A new investor is set to join MAS Fès fter getting the green light from the competition authority. Morocco’s Conseil de la concurrence has approved a deal that brings in B. Invest Holding SARL to share control of Maghreb Association Sportive Fès Football MAS SA with the club’s founding association.
The deal focuses on MAS SA, the company that runs the club’s football side. B. Invest Holding, which is part of the Bouzoubaa group and invests in businesses, will now help run the club alongside the original association.
This is a change in how the club is organised. Control will now be shared between the private investor and the association, which still keeps a role in running things.
It also reflects a wider shift in Moroccan football. More clubs are turning into companies to improve how they manage money, players and day-to-day operations as the game becomes more demanding.
