Artificial intelligence is is now changing how companies hire, train and manage their employees. To discuss these changes, École Centrale Casablanca will host a conference on 26 June focused on the impact of AI on human resources and the job market, with support from BMCI.
The event will run from 2:30pm to 6:00pm and is expected to bring together around 200 HR directors from companies across Morocco. Industry and Trade Minister Ryad Mezzour is also expected to attend.
The conference comes as Moroccan companies look for ways to use AI and digital tools while making sure workers have the skills needed for the future.
AI experts, students, academics, government representatives and members of Morocco’s innovation ecosystem will take part in the discussions. Speakers will share their views before opening the floor for exchanges with participants.
The event is being held at a time when Morocco is pushing ahead with its Digital Morocco 2030 strategy. The plan aims to train 100,000 young people every year in digital careers and increase the use of technology and AI to improve productivity.
The debate is becoming more important as AI continues to reshape workplaces around the world. According to a recent PwC study, nearly 30% of administrative tasks in companies could be automated in the coming years, forcing HR departments to rethink how they recruit, train and support employees.
BMCI will also have a dedicated stand at the event, where it will present its employee banking offers for companies and their staff.
The bank’s participation will be led by its Central Partnership Division, with support from regional partnership managers, regional directors, zone directors and intergroup directors. Three branch directors will also be present to meet companies and answer questions.
