Nearly 300 kids poured onto the field at Tiro Pichón Stadium in Malaga this past weekend for the second edition of “Mentality Brahim,” a youth camp spearheaded by Moroccan footballer Brahim Díaz.
Over several days, the young participants rotated between technical drills, educational sessions, and mentoring discussions with seasoned professionals. But the heart of the camp went far beyond soccer. The real goal was to instill values like humility, perseverance, and a deep passion for the game. In a statement, the organizers emphasized how critical these principles are in shaping both athletes and individuals.
Brahim Díaz, who was actively involved throughout the event, highlighted the importance of mental strength in a footballer’s journey. It’s a message he feels strongly about passing on to the next generation, and this camp was crafted to serve not just as a training ground, but as a source of motivation and personal growth.
He was joined on the field by a group of rising football talents including Dean Huijsen, Izan Merino, Joaquín Sánchez, and Dani Sánchez, all of whom took part in coaching and guiding the kids through the various exercises.
Beyond the pitch, the camp featured a strong educational component. In collaboration with the Malaga provincial fire service, workshops were held to teach the basics of safety and first aid—an effort to prepare the kids for real-life situations and help them develop essential reflexes.
With this initiative, Brahim Díaz continues to deepen his commitment to youth development, blending his elite-level experience with a hands-on approach that uses sport as a vehicle for education and inspiration.
