People in Casablanca now have a new place to shop, work and browse. Brands & Corners opened a new store on 5 May 2026 at Sela Park Almaz, its fifth shop in the city and 12th in Morocco.
The project represents an investment of 10 million dirhams. The company says the new store will create 30 direct jobs in the Almaz district.
The shop uses a “corner” concept with themed sections. Customers can find laptops, smartphones and video game consoles in the tech and gaming area. The store also sells books, manga and art supplies, along with beauty products and urban mobility items. Educational toys and games are available for families.
Brands & Corners says trained sales advisers will be on hand to guide customers and help them choose products.
The retailer says Almaz is a fast-growing neighbourhood attracting people looking for shopping and leisure in one place. The opening is part of the company’s plan to expand across Morocco after more than 20 years in retail.
The launch follows a rebrand by parent company MEGA V STORES Morocco in March 2026. The business changed its name to Brands & Corners to focus on product discovery and in-store advice. The chain already has shops in Rabat, Marrakech, Agadir, Fès and Tangier.
Sela Park Almaz is managed by Aradei Capital and is part of a wider network of neighbourhood shopping centres. Another development, Almaz Shopping Center, is due to open in June 2026.
Brands & Corners joins other recent arrivals in the Sela Park network, including electronics retailer WAW.
Asmâa Azmi, responsible for Marketing and Communication, said the aim is to move beyond simple transactions and create a transversal and immersive shopping environment.
