With a mission as clear as the shoreline it protects, the Chbyka Summer Tour is back—and this year, it’s bolder, broader, and more committed than ever to cleaning up Morocco’s coastline. Kicking off July 18 in Dar Bouazza and wrapping up on August 31 in Casablanca after winding its way through 30 beach towns, this second edition of the eco-focused roadshow is set to leave a lasting mark.
Driven by the Bahri Association and powered by the renewed support of the BMCI Foundation, this summer’s tour is all about action. In its debut run, over 5,200 kilograms of waste were removed from beaches thanks to the efforts of nearly 1,800 volunteers. That momentum is only building. The 2025 edition brings an expanded itinerary, more extensive beach clean-ups, wider outreach to young people, and longer-lasting solutions to the mounting threat of plastic pollution.
The BMCI Foundation’s backing goes beyond sponsorship—it’s a continuation of their long-standing commitment to environmental advocacy, which includes initiatives around water scarcity and sustainable development. Supporting Chbyka fits naturally into their broader vision of funding meaningful, people-driven projects that educate the public and spark change.
This year’s tour blends purpose with play. A dedicated crew of six volunteers will travel from beach to beach, organizing inclusive clean-up events and educational workshops using Chbyka’s signature tool—a clever device designed to capture micro-waste while raising awareness about invisible pollution. Participants of all ages are invited to take part, with eco-friendly prizes and a welcoming, free-for-all atmosphere designed to turn education into celebration.
Chbyka isn’t just another cleanup campaign—it’s a growing movement. Born in 2022, the Chbyka tool quickly gained traction online, racking up more than 300 million views across social media and becoming a symbol of grassroots environmental activism in Morocco. It’s simple, effective, and built to empower everyday people to be part of the solution.
The 2025 itinerary reflects that same grassroots spirit, reaching every corner of Morocco’s coast—from the quiet shores of Sidi Kaouki to the windswept beaches of Dakhla. Whether in major cities like Casablanca and Rabat or lesser-known coastal gems, the tour invites locals and tourists alike to get their hands dirty, learn something new, and take ownership of their shared environment.
At its heart, the Chbyka Summer Tour is more than a series of beach stops—it’s a national movement fueled by community, education, and an unwavering belief that change happens from the ground up. As the summer unfolds, one thing is clear: Chbyka’s journey isn’t just about cleaning beaches—it’s about reshaping habits, mindsets, and the future of Morocco’s coast.
