Golfers gathered in Rabat for three days of competition and social events as the Fairmont Morocco Golf Cup brought its latest stage to the capital, with Porsche Maroc joining as a partner. The fourth edition of the tournament was hosted by Fairmont La Marina Rabat-Salé at the Royal Golf Dar Es Salam. It followed earlier stages in Tangier and Taghazout, with Marrakech set to host the next and final stop of the national circuit.
The event aims to bring together golf enthusiasts while promoting Morocco’s golf destinations through a combination of sport, hospitality and business networking.

The Royal Golf Dar Es Salam provided the setting for the competition, while Fairmont La Marina Rabat-Salé hosted activities away from the course. Participants took part in a country-style lunch at the Fairmont village and an evening event at sunset, extending the programme beyond the sporting competition.
Yves Mudry, general manager of Fairmont La Marina Rabat-Salé, said hosting the tournament was an opportunity to promote Rabat and bring together golf enthusiasts.
“Hosting the Fairmont Morocco Golf Cup in Rabat is a wonderful way to promote our destination and bring together a community of enthusiasts around an experience that goes well beyond golf. We are particularly pleased to have been able to count on Porsche Maroc and all our partners for this edition. The enthusiasm of the participants and the quality of the exchanges during these three days give full meaning to this initiative,” he said.
The partnership with Porsche Maroc brings together two brands that share an emphasis on performance and precision. Their collaboration also reflects a wider approach to luxury marketing, using sporting events to build relationships with customers and connect different lifestyle sectors.
For Fairmont La Marina Rabat-Salé, hosting the tournament is also a way to highlight Rabat’s golf offering and strengthen the city’s position as a destination for premium tourism. The initiative forms part of a national circuit that uses sport to showcase different destinations through Fairmont’s hospitality network.
The tournament’s Rabat stage was held at the Royal Golf Dar Es Salam, one of the capital’s best-known golf venues. The complex is an established part of the city’s sporting landscape and hosts major golfing events.
The event received support from several sponsors, including Porsche, Callaway, Castel, Casablanca, La Ferme Rouge, Sidi Harazem, Power Boost by Sidi Harazem, SBM and Guermello.
GGM Organisation also played a role in the tournament. The company has partnered with the Fairmont Golf Cup since its first edition, with organisers highlighting its experience and continued involvement in the event.
Fairmont La Marina Rabat-Salé is located at the meeting point of the Bouregreg river and the Atlantic Ocean, overlooking Salé Marina and the Kasbah of the Udayas. The hotel combines contemporary design with Moroccan craftsmanship and offers rooms, suites and branded residences, alongside restaurants, a spa, a hammam and a rooftop swimming pool.
The Fairmont Morocco Golf Cup brings together four properties: Fairmont Royal Palm Marrakech, Fairmont Tazi Palace Tangier, Fairmont La Marina Rabat-Salé and Fairmont Taghazout Bay.
The Marrakech stage will complete the current circuit. Organisers say the tournament aims to become a regular fixture on the national golf calendar, while using the sport to introduce participants to different destinations and hospitality experiences.
