Morocco is embarking on a transformative journey to upgrade its airports, aiming to improve passenger experience and significantly increase capacity by 2030. Enhanced airport infrastructure and streamlined operations will reduce passenger processing times from 45 minutes to less than 25 minutes.
The National Airports Office (ONDA) is overseeing a series of modernization projects, targeting a collective capacity of 80 million passengers by the end of the decade.
Major airport expansion projects

Strategic importance
The projects aim to not only meet growing demand but also ensure Morocco’s airports meet global standards. The upgrades include modern terminal facilities, advanced passenger processing systems, and better connectivity, ensuring a seamless travel experience.
These developments align with Morocco’s broader vision of becoming a key international aviation hub. By hosting the 2030 FIFA World Cup and supporting an influx of tourists and sports fans, Morocco’s upgraded airports will showcase the nation’s capacity to combine hospitality with world-class infrastructure.
