Guichet.ma: The Moroccan startup is making waves across Africa

Just a few months after securing over 3 million dirhams in funding from CDG Invest through the 212 Founders program, Guichet.ma is doubling down on its ambitions to expand across Africa. Founded in 2018 by Tawfik Moul Nakhla, this innovative Moroccan online ticketing platform has just entered the Beninese market. This latest milestone follows successful launches in Senegal in 2022 and Côte d’Ivoire in 2023, with Guinea next on the expansion roadmap for 2025.

Since its inception, Guichet.ma has combined innovation and strategic execution to dominate the Moroccan ticketing market while establishing a solid foothold internationally. Operating out of its sleek headquarters in Casablanca, the startup has built a team of nearly 40 employees. Although it is still approaching financial breakeven, its diverse portfolio of services offers promising growth prospects. From concerts and festivals to sporting events, cinema, travel bookings, and even merchandising, Guichet.ma has tapped into a broad and loyal customer base.

The injection of capital from CDG Invest has provided Guichet.ma with the resources needed to fuel its continental ambitions. This growth is being supported by an aggressive hiring strategy aimed at strengthening the startup’s sales team, account managers, and customer service agents. These efforts are part of a broader plan to ensure the company can effectively scale as it ventures into new African markets.

Guichet.ma is more than just a business success story—it’s a shining example of a Moroccan startup balancing local roots with global ambitions. By extending its footprint across Africa, the company is not only transforming the ticketing industry but also helping to position Morocco as a hub for innovation and entrepreneurship on the continent.

With its planned entry into Guinea in 2025, Guichet.ma shows no signs of slowing down. Its ability to adapt its services to new markets and build strategic partnerships will likely be key to maintaining its momentum. As the African digital economy continues to grow, Guichet.ma is positioning itself as a leader in connecting audiences with entertainment, culture, and beyond.
