Moroccan football has gained a bigger corporate backer. The Royal Moroccan Football Federation has upgraded its partnership with Haier after an event in Rabat.

The celebration took place at the Prince Héritier Moulay El Hassan Sports Complex in Rabat. At the event, the Royal Moroccan Football Federation confirmed that Haier has moved from Premium Partner to Major Partner.

Guests from both organisations attended the gathering and were given a behind-the-scenes tour of the stadium. Speeches followed from Fouzi Lekjaa and Hajar Bellamine.

The new deal comes at a time when Moroccan football is getting more attention across Africa and worldwide. Both sides say the stronger partnership is meant to support long-term plans built on shared goals such as excellence, innovation and performance.

The federation says it wants long-lasting partnerships with global brands that can help grow football in the country. Haier says the new status shows its commitment to supporting Moroccan football and the country’s sporting ambitions in the coming years.
