Holmarcom is moving forward with its diversification plans, taking a significant step into the mobility sector by preparing to acquire full ownership of France Car, a vehicle rental company that operates under the well-known SIXT brand.
The deal involves purchasing 100% of the capital and voting rights of France Car SARL, a company headquartered in Casablanca and registered with the local trade authorities. Through its franchise agreement with the German rental giant SIXT, France Car has managed to carve out a solid position in Morocco’s highly competitive car rental market.
Holmarcom, also based in Casablanca, is a sprawling conglomerate with interests across a wide spectrum of industries including banking, insurance, agribusiness, retail, logistics, and real estate. The planned acquisition reflects the group’s strategic push to broaden its portfolio, signaling a growing commitment to expanding its footprint in transportation and mobility services.
