Mohammed VI Polytechnic University continues to advance Morocco’s ambitions for greater industrial and technological independence through InnovX, its dedicated innovation hub. The latest venture to emerge from this strategy is TX, a new entity designed to deepen the integration of cutting-edge technologies within the group’s industrial initiatives.
TX has been tasked with bridging the gap between startups, manufacturers, suppliers, and research institutions. Its role is to act as a conduit, helping to transfer breakthroughs from research and development into supply chains where they can deliver real operational benefits.
Beyond simply fostering technological transfer, TX aims to spark the creation of strong industrial partnerships, accelerate skills development, and promote high-value local solutions. Its launch comes at a pivotal time for Morocco, as the country looks to reinforce its industrial infrastructure in critical sectors such as energy, agriculture, green chemistry, and sustainable materials.
Another core mission for TX will be to help build out domestic industries around key strategic technologies. The goal is to nurture local suppliers and equipment manufacturers so they can meet demanding international standards and compete on a global scale.
TX joins a growing roster of initiatives spearheaded by InnovX and its subsidiaries. These include Hydrojeel, which focuses on the production of green hydrogen and ammonia; ParkX, which is driving the creation of eco-friendly industrial zones in Jorf Lasfar and Benguerir; and agricultural technology ventures like AgriEdge and Sowit, both of which are working to digitize and modernize farming practices.
Together, these projects form an integrated and dynamic ecosystem led by Mohammed VI Polytechnic University and the OCP Group. The model remains intentionally open, welcoming collaboration with industrial, financial, and institutional partners both within Morocco and across international markets.
