The 7th edition of the Inwi Business Meetings concluded in Agadir, capping a nationwide tour organized in partnership with the Digital Development Agency (ADD) and the Association of Information Systems Users in Morocco (AUSIM). This final stop in the Souss-Massa capital focused on the transformative theme: “Digitalizing the Agricultural Sector: A Lever for Sustainable Growth.”
A diverse panel of experts, decision-makers, and agricultural business leaders convened to explore the pivotal role of digital technologies in addressing food security challenges. Discussions centered on how digital solutions can optimize agricultural production, ensure sustainable management of natural resources, and secure the sector’s long-term viability.
Another key focus was the potential of logistics 4.0 to create a competitive and sustainable agricultural value chain, leveraging digital innovation to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
Participants shared insights into the obstacles faced when adopting digital solutions in agriculture, along with practical examples of successful implementation. These real-world cases offered actionable strategies to help farmers embrace digital transformation effectively.
Inwi highlighted the critical role of innovative solutions, such as enhanced connectivity, sovereign infrastructure, and cybersecurity, in accelerating the digitalization of agriculture and building its resilience against future challenges.
The discussions fostered collaboration among stakeholders, encouraging partnerships across businesses of all sizes. With over 100 economic actors participating, the tour stopped in Casablanca, Rabat, Tangier, and Agadir. Each city addressed strategic topics tailored to local issues, providing both a broad and focused perspective on the opportunities and hurdles of digital transformation.
This 7th edition reinforced the importance of digital innovation as a strategic driver for advancing the digital transition in key sectors of Morocco’s economy, especially agriculture.
