Jewelry with soul: Manoyas launches in Morocco

Born from the creative vision of Yasmine Bakkali in Paris, Manoyas has found a new home in Morocco’s jewelry scene. The brand’s distinctive collections are now available in Casablanca, at the Morocco Mall and in the Maârif district, as well as in Rabat at the Méga Mall. This expansion comes through a partnership with Mounier & Bouvard, a venerable name in fine jewelry since 1929, known for its meticulous craftsmanship and high standards.

But Manoyas is not chasing trends. Its creations are deeply personal, reflecting inner narratives rather than fashion statements. Each piece is designed as a physical echo of an emotion or memory, an intimate extension of life experience. What began in Paris as a singular artistic journey has now extended its roots to Moroccan soil—without compromising the brand’s original spirit or creative integrity.

The brand’s Moroccan launch was marked by an elegant evening at Esthécare in Casablanca on June 17. The event brought together loyal clients, creative partners, and newcomers to the brand’s world. The venue, known for its attention to aesthetics and detail, was a natural backdrop for a label that celebrates confident femininity and refined expression.

At the heart of Manoyas are two distinct collections, each built on strong symbolic foundations. The first reimagines the traditional hand of Fatima, translating it into a sleek, modern design. Embodying five core values—balance, intuition, strength, serenity, and sensuality—these pieces are crafted in 18-karat gold, sometimes accented with diamonds. The result is sculptural jewelry that feels both ancient and modern, rich with meaning and visual power.

The second collection draws inspiration from the lotus flower, a symbol of personal transformation and rebirth. Here, gold—whether white, yellow, or rose—is paired with more unexpected materials: blue ceramic, amethyst, citrine, topaz. The interplay of light, color, and texture turns each item into more than just a luxury accessory—it becomes a symbol of growth and subtle elegance.

Several standout pieces encapsulate the brand’s ethos. The Audace line, a statement of empowerment, is offered in rings, pendants, and earrings. Made in white gold and diamonds, it pays tribute to a bold and grounded vision of femininity. The Blue Lotus, meanwhile, blends gold and ceramic to create a calming, meditative presence. Then there’s Sensualité, a design that defies category—it can be worn as a hand jewel or a necklace, moving fluidly with the body and responding to the wearer’s gestures.

With its poetic craftsmanship and symbolic depth, Manoyas is not merely offering jewelry—it’s offering a conversation between the personal and the precious, an artistic language that speaks to women who define their own elegance.
