King Mohammed VI is set to preside over the opening of the first session of the fifth legislative year of Morocco’s 11th Parliament this Friday, October 10. The announcement was made Thursday by the Ministry of the Royal Household, Protocol, and Chancellery.
The ceremonial event will take place at the Parliament building in Rabat, bringing together members from both chambers—the House of Representatives and the House of Councillors.
On this occasion, the King will deliver a Royal Speech to lawmakers, marking a key institutional moment in the country’s political calendar. The address will be broadcast live on national radio and television starting at 4:30 p.m.
