Moroccan food delivery startup Kooul has taken a major step forward by integrating a new online payment feature into its mobile app, thanks to a strategic partnership with Vantage Payment Systems (VPS). The collaboration, finalized with ORA Technologies, reflects Kooul’s ambition to scale its fully homegrown platform in an increasingly competitive market.
With this update, users can now securely save their bank cards directly within the app, streamlining the checkout process and enhancing convenience. This move not only improves the customer experience but also strengthens Kooul’s foothold in a fast-growing digital economy.
Ali Bettahi, CEO of VPS, emphasized the need to support local startups with high-performance tools that meet international standards. He sees this kind of partnership as key to helping young companies grow quickly and establish themselves in the broader e-commerce ecosystem.
Kooul’s co-founder, Omar Alami, welcomed the shift, calling it a significant milestone in the startup’s evolution.
