KPMG Morocco is promoting Mohammed Berrada to partner and putting him in charge of its banking consulting business. Berrada will become an Advisory Partner and Head of Financial Services Banking Consulting on 1 October 2026. He has spent 16 years with the KPMG network. His career has taken him through KPMG offices in Paris, Melbourne and Casablanca.
Berrada was previously an Advisory Director. His new role will see him lead consulting work for banks and other financial institutions in Morocco.
The move comes as financial institutions face growing demands around regulation, digital transformation, risk management and compliance.
KPMG and other major professional services firms advise banks on these areas, as well as digitalisation and international expansion, including growth into Sub-Saharan Africa.
The local banking sector includes major groups such as Attijariwafa Bank, Banque Centrale Populaire and Bank of Africa. This creates continued demand for specialised financial-sector consulting.
Berrada’s experience across Paris, Melbourne and Casablanca also brings international experience to KPMG’s financial services consulting team in Morocco.
His appointment takes effect on 1 October 2026.
