Real Madrid officially announced on Monday evening the signing of French star striker Kylian Mbappé from PSG.
Mbappé, who was out of contract with the Parisian team, has committed to the Blancos for five seasons, until June 2029. The top scorer of this season’s Champions League with eight goals, Mbappé aims to fulfill his dream of winning the Champions League and following in the footsteps of his idol, Portuguese legend Cristiano Ronaldo.
Pursued by Real Madrid since 2018, Mbappé strengthens a star-studded team that recently clinched their 15th European title last Saturday at Wembley against Dortmund.
The captain of the French national team will form a dream attacking line with Vinicius, a Ballon d’Or contender this year and the best player of the Champions League, along with Rodrygo, Endrick, and Moroccan international Brahim Diaz.
At just 25 years old, the Bondy native cemented his place in Paris-Saint-Germain history on March 4, 2023, becoming the club’s top scorer with 256 goals, surpassing Uruguayan Edinson Cavani’s record of 200 goals across all competitions.
