LabelVie Group sets guinness record for largest mille-feuille display

For LabelVie Group, the start of 2024 is marked by a spectacular achievement! Carrefour Témara has claimed the Guinness World Record for the largest assortment of mille-feuilles ever displayed in a hypermarket.

This extraordinary record showcases 1,000 mille-feuilles, crafted in 100 unique varieties and exhibited in five themed displays: “Traditional Moroccan Mille-Feuilles,” “All-Chocolate Mille-Feuilles,” “Fruit-Packed Mille-Feuilles,” “Organic and Healthy Mille-Feuilles,” and “Savory Mille-Feuilles.”

The event attracted large crowds, eager to witness the artistry of the pastry chefs, who crafted their creations live. In a gesture of solidarity, all the mille-feuilles prepared during the event were donated to the Moroccan League for Child Protection.

The decision to highlight the mille-feuille was a natural choice, as this beloved pastry is cherished by Moroccans across generations. Through this creative assortment of 100 variations, LabelVie Group aimed to spotlight the innovation and mastery of Moroccan pastry chefs while celebrating the depth of local craftsmanship.

This new world record, achieved under the Moroccan flag, serves as a source of national pride, reflecting the excellence of local talent on the global stage.

Moreover, the event was a joyful celebration of community, where Carrefour Témara customers had the chance to taste these unique mille-feuille creations, making it an unforgettable culinary experience.

“In setting this record, we are honoring the remarkable skills of Moroccan pastry chefs and elevating this pastry that is loved by all in Morocco. We are thrilled to share this achievement with our Carrefour Témara customers, offering them a memorable gastronomic experience,” said Ghalem Aoun, Director of Carrefour Témara.

The event was supported by Sofadex, a key player in Morocco’s bakery, pastry, and chocolate industry. Sofadex provided its expertise and that of its master pastry chefs, working alongside Carrefour Témara’s pastry team to develop the recipes for the mille-feuilles showcased at the event.

The record was officially authenticated and certified by an official judge from London. With this achievement, Morocco now holds its 29th Guinness World Record.
