LG Electronics has won 26 prizes at the iF Design Award 2026, one of the world’s best-known design competitions.
The company received awards in several areas including product design, user experience and architecture. The competition, founded in 1953, judges entries on ideas, design, usefulness and sustainability.

One of the winning products was the LG OLED evo W6 television. The TV is about 9mm thick and fits flat against the wall. It uses wireless “Zero Connect” technology to send 4K video and sound from a separate box, so there are no cables connected to the screen. It also uses Hyper Radiant Color technology and the Alpha 11 AI Processor Gen3 to improve picture brightness.
The LG CLOiD home robot also won an award. The AI-powered robot is designed to help with household chores. It can respond to voice commands and visual signals, and has two arms with five-fingered hands that allow it to carry out tasks such as folding clothes or placing items in an oven.
Another winner was the LG gram Pro laptop. It uses a special material called Aerominum to keep the device very light while still strong.
Several home appliances also received awards, including the Whisen Objet Collection Cool air conditioner, the PuriCare Bath Air System and the WallFit air purifier.
LG also won an architecture award for the LG Flagship Store D5 in Gangnam. The building has a white terracotta exterior that shows light and movement like a large digital screen. Inside, a tall digital display runs through all five floors.
The company was also recognised for creating an “easy-to-read” guide to help children with developmental disabilities learn how to use home appliances safely.
The design awards come as LG reported record revenue of 89.2 trillion South Korean won (about $66bn) in 2025.
LG Electronics, which has more than 75,000 employees worldwide, says it plans to focus on business growth in areas such as vehicle components, heating and cooling systems, and its webOS platform, which now runs on more than 260 million devices.
Chung Wook-jun, head of the company’s Corporate Design Center, said LG will continue to focus on creating products built around customer needs.
