LG rolls out AI powered appliances for Moroccan families

South Korea’s LG Electronics has shown off a new range of smart home appliances aimed at customers in Morocco at its LG InnoFest

South Korea’s LG Electronics has shown off a new range of smart home appliances aimed at customers in Morocco at its LG InnoFest 2026 MEA event in Abu Dhabi.

The event, held from 3 to 5 February, focused on washing machines, dryers and cleaning devices designed to suit Moroccan homes.

In the laundry range, LG introduced bigger capacity washers and dryers powered by artificial intelligence. One of the main products on display was the LG SIGNATURE WashCombo, an all in one machine that washes and dries clothes in a single unit and offers one of the largest capacities in its category.

The company also expanded its LG WashTower line, adding a new 25-inch model to the existing 24 and 27-inch versions. The stacked design is meant to save space while giving customers more choice depending on the size of their home.

A new 27-inch WashCombo, aimed at larger families, was presented for the first time. It can wash up to 25kg and dry up to 21kg. It uses heat pump technology to dry clothes more efficiently and reduce energy use. LG also showcased a front-loading washing machine with a built-in LCD screen and a smart motor that automatically adjusts the wash cycle based on the weight of the load and the type of fabric.

For businesses, the company presented commercial laundry systems that can be managed through apps and remote monitoring tools.

In-home cleaning, LG displayed a cordless wet and dry vacuum with an automatic water supply system, as well as a new robot cleaner that can mop floors with steam at temperatures of up to 100 °C and comes with a hidden charging station.

Phil Jung, LG’s regional representative for the Middle East and Africa, said the company is working to develop products that match local needs and make everyday life easier for customers in Morocco.
