Marsa Maroc increases stake to 100% in “Société de Manutention d’Agadir”

As part of its strategic objectives to enhance the competitiveness of its service offerings for economic operators, Marsa Maroc has announced an increase in its stake in its subsidiary, Société de Manutention d’Agadir, from 51% to 100%.

Strategic move to enhance service quality

By gaining full control over Société de Manutention d’Agadir, Marsa Maroc aims to create strong operational synergies with the other multipurpose terminal it operates at the Port of Agadir. This move is intended to provide better service quality to its clients.

Concession agreement and operational impact

Société de Manutention d’Agadir holds the concession for the North Quay Terminal at the Port of Agadir, under a concession contract signed with the National Ports Agency on August 25, 2016.

The completion of this transaction is subject to the fulfillment of certain conditions.
