The Moroccan U18 soccer team beat its Algerian counterpart by 2 goals to 0 (half time 0-0), Tuesday in Oran, during the second day (group A) of the Mediterranean Games, thus reviving its chances of qualification for the next round.

The goals of the Atlas Cubs were scored by Othmane Boukhriss (47th) and Abdellah Raihani (63rd).

In the other match of this group, France will meet Spain.

The national team had lost its first game last Sunday agaitonst France (0-1). Algeria had taken the best on Spain (1-0).

At the end of this match, Morocco, Algeria and France have 3 points each, while Spain ranks last (0 point).

On the next day, Morocco will face Spain on Thursday, while Algeria will play against France.
