MEGA V STORES Morocco has introduced a new store name, “Brands & Corners”, after nearly 20 years in business.
The company, part of Retail Holding, says the change is meant to update how its shops look and feel. Stores will now be divided into clear sections such as tech, gaming, beauty, home and books, making it easier for customers to find what they want.
Despite the new name, the company says little will change for customers. It will keep working with the same international brands and the same staff will remain in place.

The new brand starts with 11 stores already open in cities including Casablanca, Rabat, Marrakech, Agadir, Fes and Tangier.
In a statement, the company said it wants to offer a more modern shopping experience while keeping its focus on good service and advice.
The business previously ran Virgin Megastore shops in Morocco. The rebrand gives it more freedom to expand its product range beyond books and music into areas like lifestyle, home and beauty, without relying on a foreign franchise.
The move comes as shopping habits in Morocco are changing, with more people living in cities, more online shopping, and growing demand for well-known international brands.
Retail Holding, founded by Zouhair Bennani, owns a large share in LabelVie, which runs Carrefour stores in Morocco. The group has also secured funding from IFC and CDG Invest Growth to support its plans to grow in Morocco and in other African markets.
Brands & Corners is expected to play a central role in that expansion.
