Adam Foods has acquired Biscoland from Holmarcom, the companies said.

The deal marks a change in ownership for the Casablanca-based manufacturer, which was set up by Holmarcom as part of its agro-industry activities. Biscoland runs a modern production site in the Casablanca area built to international standards.

Holmarcom said it decided to sell after completing the company’s setup and establishing its industrial base.

Adam Foods said the purchase forms part of its plan to grow outside Europe. It aims to use Biscoland’s factory as a base to expand in North Africa and other regional markets.

Both sides said the move should support Biscoland’s growth, giving it access to international expertise while continuing its operations in Morocco.

Adam Foods, which has more than 100 years of history, produces biscuits, pastries, pâtés and honey through several business units.

Holmarcom, founded nearly 60 years ago, operates in finance, agro-industry, logistics and real estate, with activities in Morocco and parts of West Africa.
