Moroccan firm Outsourcia buys SoMezzo for $1.6M

Outsourcia is continuing its strategic push across Europe, sealing another acquisition to strengthen its footprint in the region. The Moroccan business process outsourcing group has just completed the purchase of SoMezzo, a French company operating in the same sector. The deal, valued at 16 million dirhams, was finalized through a capital increase reserved for Christophe Bouyssonnade, the founder and sole shareholder of SoMezzo.

As part of the transaction, Bouyssonnade transferred all 202,200 of his shares in SoMezzo to Outsourcia, effectively making the Moroccan group the sole owner of the French company. In return, he now holds a little over 3 percent of Outsourcia’s capital—an arrangement that pegs the company’s valuation at approximately 500 million dirhams.

This move marks the latest in a string of acquisitions driven by Outsourcia’s strategy to grow through external expansion, especially in the French market. Following the acquisitions of PhoneAct in 2022 and the Scemi Group in 2023, this latest deal brings the total number of such operations to six in recent years. That momentum has pushed the group’s consolidated revenue beyond 600 million dirhams.

Operating across Morocco, France, Tunisia, and Madagascar, Outsourcia employs more than 5,000 people. The company prides itself on its multilingual capabilities, offering services in over ten languages thanks to its geographically diverse teams.
