Moroccan golfers claim historic ten golds at Pan-Arab Tournament in Egypt

High stakes and big names: the International Series heats up in Rabat

Morocco delivered a commanding performance at the 23rd Pan-Arab Junior and Women’s Golf Championship, held in Egypt from May 7 to 10, 2025, claiming an impressive ten gold medals. The event, staged across the demanding fairways of Madinaty and Katameya Dunes Golf Clubs, witnessed a landmark achievement for Morocco’s emerging golfing talents, who excelled both individually and as teams.

The Moroccan contingent split their gold medal haul evenly between team and individual competitions. On the team front, the boys’ squads dominated the Under-13, Under-16, and Under-18 categories, while the girls’ Under-16 team and the women’s team also emerged victorious. Individually, the country’s rising stars shone brightly. Fatima Zahra El Hali took top honors in the Under-13 girls’ division, with Ilyes Cauden mirroring her success in the boys’ Under-13 category. Noha Ghadi captured gold in the girls’ Under-16 bracket, while Amine El Omari triumphed in the boys’ Under-18 field. In the women’s division, Rim Inmi rounded off Morocco’s golden run with a decisive win.

This historic sweep underlines the remarkable strides Morocco has made in nurturing young golfing talent. It also reflects the sustained efforts and strategic development programs spearheaded by the Royal Moroccan Golf Federation, under the leadership of His Royal Highness Prince Moulay Rachid.
