Moroccan judokas earn spots for Paris 2024 Olympics

Moroccan judokas Soumiya Iraoui (-52 kg) and Abderrahmane Boushita (-66 kg) have officially secured their spots for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, as confirmed by the Moroccan National Olympic Committee (CNOM).

At 28 years old, Iraoui will be making her second Olympic appearance, following her participation in the Tokyo 2020 Games. Meanwhile, the 26-year-old Boushita will experience the Olympic spotlight for the first time in Paris.

Morocco’s delegation for the Paris 2024 Olympics is shaping up to be diverse and competitive, with qualifications across 18 different sports disciplines. The nation will be represented in athletics, rowing, boxing, breakdancing, canoeing, cycling, fencing, football, wrestling, surfing, taekwondo, shooting, triathlon, equestrian sports, beach volleyball, skateboarding, golf, and of course, judo.

This broad range of qualified sports showcases Morocco’s growing athletic prowess on the international stage, promising an exciting and dynamic representation at the upcoming Olympic Games.
