Moroccan National Tourist Office launches nationwide tour to boost regional tourism

The Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT), in partnership with the National Confederation of Tourism, has initiated a nationwide tour to strengthen regional tourism. The initiative aims to engage with local leaders, Regional Tourism Councils (CRTs), and key industry players to enhance Morocco’s appeal both nationally and internationally.

The tour, which began on January 10, 2025, in Marrakech, marks the first stop in a series of visits to all 12 regions of the country. Marrakech, a cornerstone of Moroccan tourism, serves as a strategic starting point for this initiative, which seeks to address the unique opportunities and challenges each region presents.

Through this outreach, the ONMT will present its strategic vision and outline upcoming regional actions while gathering input from professionals in the sector. This dialogue will ensure that the initiatives implemented are well-suited to local needs, focusing on sectors such as hospitality, travel agencies, transportation, and dining.
