With just two months to go before the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations kicks off, excitement is clearly building. As of 5 p.m. Tuesday, 58,000 tickets had already been sold, underscoring the growing anticipation surrounding the tournament. At the same time, over 145,000 applications for FAN IDs had been submitted through the Yalla app, with more than 121,000 of them already approved.

Set to take place in Morocco from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026, the tournament is drawing attention far beyond the African continent. More than 31,000 FAN IDs have been issued to international fans hailing from 108 different countries—evidence of the event’s increasing global appeal.

In response to the surge in demand, organizers have expanded their logistical and security operations. Technical infrastructure has been upgraded to handle the traffic, and a multilingual customer service team of over 600 agents is now available around the clock via phone and email to help users navigate the process.

The organizing committee has emphasized that a FAN ID will be mandatory for stadium access. Paired with a valid ticket, the FAN ID will streamline entry procedures and enhance security around the venues.

Ticket prices range from 100 to 900 dirhams, depending on seating category and the significance of the match.

The overarching goal, organizers say, is to deliver a smooth, safe, and inclusive experience for all attendees—whether they’re coming from across town or across the globe.
