Morocco Royal Tour ends on a high note in El Jadida

The Morocco Royal Tour is wrapping up in spectacular fashion in El Jadida, marking the grand finale of its 14th edition. From October 2 to 5, the city hosts the final leg of this prestigious international equestrian circuit at the Mohammed VI Exhibition Park, held alongside the renowned Horse Show. The event is organized under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI.

Unlike the previous stages, the indoor arena in El Jadida is more compact, presenting a tougher challenge for riders and horses alike. This tighter setting will test the skills of nearly 150 riders and around 300 horses representing 16 different nations. Spectators can expect a vibrant, high-energy atmosphere as they watch the action unfold from the stands.

One of the most exciting aspects of this final stage is its focus on developing local talent. Around fifteen up-and-coming Moroccan riders will compete for the first time in a CSI1* class, going head-to-head with seasoned international athletes. For these young competitors, it’s both a chance to prove themselves and to gain valuable experience on a world-class stage.

The weekend’s highlight will be the CSI4*-W Grand Prix of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, scheduled for Sunday afternoon. This flagship event will bring together top-tier riders from around the globe. Following that, the CSI1* Grand Prix will serve as the closing event of the tour, promising a thrilling end to this year’s competition.

The final stage officially got underway Thursday evening with two opening events: a CSI1* round at 1.25 meters and a CSI4*-W class at 1.40 meters, setting the tone for an intense and high-level weekend of show jumping.
