Morocco’s national futsal team delivered an impressive performance Sunday night in Rabat, defeating Spain 4-1 in a friendly match at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Sports Complex.
The Atlas Lions showcased their growing dominance in the sport, with standout player Soufiane Charraoui scoring twice. He was joined on the scoresheet by Soufiane El Mesrar and Ismail Amazal, who each added a goal to seal the commanding win. Spain managed to respond with goals from Daniel Gabriel and Daniel Lopez, but they couldn’t match the pace or precision of the Moroccan side.
This matchup marks the first of two friendlies between the two teams, with the next encounter scheduled for October 21 at Ibn Yassine Hall, also in Rabat. The rematch will offer Spain a chance to regroup while Morocco looks to confirm its momentum on home turf.
