Muharram 1st of the new hegira year 1443 will correspond to Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2021, the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs has announced on Monday.
In a statement, the Ministry confirmed the observation of the lunar crescent of the month of Muharram at sunset on Monday 29 Dhu al-Hijjah 1442 (corresponding to August 09, 2021).
Therefore, Muharram 1st of the new hegira year 1443 will correspond to Tuesday August 10, 2020, according to the same source.
