With an impressive 430-kilometer range and a five-star Euro NCAP safety rating, this cutting-edge model blends innovation, technology, and eco-friendly performance.
Developed by OMODA & JAECOO, a subsidiary of the Chinese automotive giant Chery International, the OMODA E5 reflects the brand’s strong commitment to electric mobility. Chery, which has led Chinese automobile exports for 22 consecutive years, sold 2.6 million vehicles in 2024, including over one million internationally. Now, this global success story extends to Morocco, reinforcing the country’s growing shift toward electric vehicles.
Designed for modern urban drivers who value both aesthetics and sustainability, the OMODA E5 stands out with its sleek and dynamic exterior. Inspired by the concept of “light of movement,” it features a minimalist grille, an aerodynamic floating roof, and 18-inch alloy wheels that enhance efficiency. Its 2.63-meter wheelbase ensures a spacious and comfortable interior, making every journey enjoyable.
Inside, the OMODA E5 combines luxury with high-tech innovation. A dual 12-inch curved display, powered by a Qualcomm 8155 processor, provides an intuitive and seamless digital experience. A premium Sony sound system delivers immersive audio quality, while keyless start, dual-zone climate control, and customizable ambient lighting with 64 color options enhance comfort and convenience.
Performance-wise, the OMODA E5 is powered by a 202-horsepower electric motor, delivering 340 Nm of torque. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.2 seconds, offering a dynamic driving experience. Three driving modes—Sport, Comfort, and Eco—allow users to adapt to different road conditions. The 61 kWh lithium-ion phosphate battery ensures optimal energy efficiency, with fast charging capabilities that take the battery from 30% to 80% in just 28 minutes on an 80 kW DC charger.
Safety is a top priority, with 24 advanced driver-assistance systems, including forward collision warning, autonomous emergency braking, and blind-spot detection. The vehicle’s reinforced structure, made from 78% high-strength steel, provides maximum impact absorption, ensuring superior protection for occupants.
To support the transition to electric mobility, CFAO Mobility is offering an exclusive launch package that includes free installation of an 11 kW AC wallbox charger at home, in partnership with TSG Solutions Maroc. This initiative aims to simplify home charging and promote sustainable driving.
The OMODA E5 is now available in Morocco, starting at 420,000 dirhams, with a seven-year or 150,000-kilometer warranty.
