Palais des Arts in Tangier to host 16th edition of MEDays Forum

The 16th edition of the International MEDays Forum is set to take place in Tangier from November 27 to 30, 2024, marking a pivotal moment for the city. Under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, this global event, spearheaded by its founder Brahim Fassi Fihri, will center around the timely theme: “Sovereignties and Resilience: Toward a New Global Balance.” For the first time, the forum will be held in the prestigious setting of Tangier’s Palais des Arts et de la Culture, a landmark venue that symbolizes the growth and prominence of this must-attend event.

Tangier, often referred to as the Pearl of the Strait, is gearing up to welcome a host of political decision-makers, economic leaders, and diplomats from across the globe. This gathering is more than just a conference—it’s a crossroads of ideas and a melting pot of civilizations, where the future of the world is set to be debated. Once again, the city will shine as the host of this landmark event, solidifying its role as a bridge between nations, fostering dialogue and cooperation to build a more balanced and resilient future for all.

The 2024 edition promises a wide array of sessions focusing on geostrategic issues, highlighting both the challenges and opportunities faced by Africa and developing countries. The newly inaugurated Palais des Arts et de la Culture will serve as the backdrop for these crucial discussions, offering state-of-the-art facilities in a space designed to foster high-quality exchanges. The venue, a symbol of Tangier’s modernity and cultural vibrancy, will comfortably host more than 6,000 attendees, creating a rich environment for networking and meaningful interaction.

In this majestic setting, MEDays 2024 aims to deepen discussions on contemporary global challenges, particularly the strengthening of sovereignties and resilience in the face of worldwide crises. Participants will explore how nations can safeguard their integrity in an increasingly interconnected world, while also building collective capacities to adapt and thrive amidst global disruptions.

Thus, within the grandeur of the Palais des Arts et de la Culture, this edition of MEDays will offer a unique opportunity to debate and shape the contours of a new world order, reaffirming Tangier’s pivotal role on the international stage.
