A new digital platform is transforming how residents and visitors move around Morocco’s capital. Rabat Région Mobilité has officially launched Blassty, a mobile app designed to simplify and streamline transportation throughout the Rabat–Salé–Témara urban area.

For the first time in Morocco, a single application brings together all modes of urban transport under one roof – tramways, buses, taxis, parking lots, and even bike taxis. The goal: to give users a real-time, personalized overview of their mobility options, helping them plan their journeys more efficiently and intuitively.

Blassty is part of a broader push to modernize Rabat into a connected, smart city. The app offers a range of practical features, including real-time transit schedules, route planning based on user preferences (whether speed, distance, or cost), parking availability, and even on-demand bike taxi services. It also supports tailored functions such as quick taxi booking to the airport or accessing train shuttle times to the Prince Moulay Abdellah Sports Complex on event days.

In addition to serving daily commuters, Blassty also caters to tourists. The app includes curated routes highlighting Rabat’s historic and cultural landmarks, merging mobility with discovery. It’s a tool that not only promotes efficient transport but also showcases the city’s heritage in a sustainable, tech-forward way.

By integrating these diverse services into one easy-to-use platform, Rabat becomes the first city in the country to offer such a comprehensive digital mobility solution – accessible, innovative, and aligned with the modernization vision championed by His Majesty the King.
