TELUS Digital has opened a new office in Casablanca, adding to its growing operations in Morocco and creating space for more than 1,700 employees.

The company, which provides digital customer service, technology and artificial intelligence solutions, has opened the new site at Casablanca Finance City (CFC). The office covers 11,136 square metres across two buildings and adds to TELUS Digital’s existing Casanearshore campus, where more than 2,000 people already work.

TELUS Digital first arrived in Morocco in 2023 with just 300 employees. Today, it employs nearly 2,900 people across the country, making Morocco an increasingly important base for serving clients in North America and Europe.

The company said the move to Casablanca Finance City will help support its continued growth and bring it closer to business, technology and institutional partners.

The new office includes workspaces, meeting rooms, training areas, an auditorium, event spaces, cafeterias, a gym and recreation areas. The company said these facilities are designed to support employee wellbeing, learning and career development.

“Our growth starts with local talent,” said Yassine Benkirane, Country Managing Director and Operations Director of TELUS Digital Morocco.

He said the company is investing in training, coaching, skills development and internal promotions to give employees opportunities to build careers both in Morocco and abroad.

TELUS Digital works with international clients in sectors including technology, e-commerce, fintech, telecommunications, logistics and business services.

The company said the new site will focus on more advanced technology services, including artificial intelligence. Teams in Casablanca will work on Fuel iX, TELUS Digital’s generative AI platform that helps companies use large language models securely.

The expansion also takes advantage of Morocco’s multilingual workforce. Employees at the Casablanca site mainly work in French, English and Arabic, helping the company support clients across different markets.

The move comes as Morocco’s outsourcing and digital services sector continues to expand. The industry employs more than 130,000 skilled workers and is one of the country’s leading service export sectors.

Casablanca Finance City is home to more than 200 companies and has become a major business hub linking African and European markets.

TELUS Digital now operates in more than 35 countries worldwide. The company employs over 80,000 people, runs more than 70 customer experience and IT service centres, and provides services in more than 50 languages.
