US Open: 2021 edition to be played at full capacity

The 2021 US Open will be played in front of a full house. A 100% capacity crowd will be allowed from August 30 to September 12 at Flushing Meadows in New York.

The U.S. Tennis Association announced that all tickets for the last Grand Slam tournament of the year will go on sale in July.

If the health situation does not deteriorate by then, the US Open would be the first Grand Slam tournament to sell out since the Australian Open in January/February 2020. Last year, the pros took to the New York courts to empty stands due to the pandemic. In 2019, more than 700,000 people attended the US Open.
