It will focus on transforming paper and corrugated cardboard, with an annual production capacity of 20,000 tons of corrugated cardboard and 10,000 tons of processed paper products, such as cores, edge protectors, Kraft rolls, newsprint, and cut Manila paper.<\/p>\n
Strategically positioned to meet the rising demand in the agricultural sector (especially for rosaceous fruits), industrial sectors (textiles, manufacturing, food processing), and the automobile sector, this new unit will primarily serve the F\u00e8s-Mekn\u00e8s region and the Oriental region, including Oujda and Nador.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis investment is a significant milestone in our growth strategy as we celebrate our 32nd anniversary,\u201d said Mounir El Bari, General Manager of GPC, as quoted in the press release. He emphasized that the new facility reaffirms GPC and Ynna’s commitment to promoting Made in Morocco, aligning with the country\u2019s industrial sovereignty strategy, while actively contributing to the economic transformation of the regions they serve.<\/p>\n
El Bari also expressed pride in the company\u2019s role in fostering a sustainable Moroccan industry. The new “green” unit will produce over 40% of its total energy needs through solar power, supporting key sectors of the Moroccan economy.<\/p>\n
