AKDITAL Group has firmly denied ever receiving any form of public or government support for its investments, whether directly or indirectly. In a statement released on October 6, the Casablanca-listed healthcare provider made it clear that its growth and expansion have been entirely self-financed or backed by bank loans and capital raised through the Moroccan stock market.
The company emphasized its strict adherence to financial transparency rules as required by the Moroccan Capital Market Authority. All of its financial reports—both quarterly and annual—are readily available on the official websites of the AMMC, the Casablanca Stock Exchange, and the company itself.
AKDITAL also underlined that its entire investment strategy is grounded in private financing. It has not relied on any form of state subsidy, despite the fact that its efforts align closely with the eligibility criteria of Morocco’s Investment Charter. That includes establishing modern medical facilities across all twelve regions of the country, even in remote and underserved areas such as Laâyoune, Dakhla, Guelmim, Errachidia, Essaouira, and Nador.
The group pointed out that each of its clinics typically creates more than 200 jobs, with women making up the majority of the workforce. This focus on regional development and job creation, it argues, would technically make the company a valid candidate for public investment aid. However, AKDITAL reiterated that it has never taken advantage of any such assistance.
In line with its transparency push, the company voiced support for an initiative led by the National Association of Private Clinics. That group has asked the Ministry of Health to publicly disclose which healthcare institutions have received government investment support. AKDITAL says it backs this move toward greater accountability in the sector.
The company concluded its statement by reaffirming its commitment to advancing the national healthcare reform agenda championed by King Mohammed VI, pledging to continue playing an active role in transforming Morocco’s medical landscape.
