Société Nationale des Autoroutes du Maroc (ADM) has announced a net profit exceeding 1.06 billion dirhams for the year 2023.
ADM’s annual net result, significantly boosted by a favorable Forex, stands at a positive 1.065 billion dirhams, according to a statement released following their Ordinary General Assembly (AGO) held on Monday in Rabat, presided over by Nizar Baraka, the Minister of Equipment and Water.
In 2023, ADM experienced a revenue increase of 10.1%, reaching 3.7 billion dirhams excluding taxes, due to the rebound in highway traffic, which returned to pre-COVID levels. The company’s balance sheet structure remained “almost stable” compared to the end of 2022. After reviewing the management report of the Board of Directors for the 2023 fiscal year and the Auditor’s reports, the AGO approved the financial statements as presented.
ADM’s consolidated accounts, adhering to IAS/IFRS standards, show a net profit of 1.294 billion dirhams, primarily due to the favorable impact of Forex. The Ordinary General Assembly also decided to carry forward the net profit for the 2023 fiscal year.
