BANK OF AFRICA and Mastercard are inviting Moroccan entrepreneurs to apply for the second edition of their “Elevator Pitch” competition. Applications will open on 21 September and close on 1 November 2026. Applicants need to record a one-minute video on their smartphone to explain their project. They must also complete an online application form.
The competition is open to projects in areas such as technology, e-commerce, education, cleantech and the sustainable economy.
Ten entrepreneurs will be selected for a mentoring programme. They will get help with their business models, market plans and financial planning. They will also receive coaching on public speaking, storytelling and how to present their ideas.
Three winners will be chosen by an expert jury. A fourth winner will receive the Public Choice Award after a social media vote.
Winners can receive up to 100,000 Moroccan dirhams to help grow their businesses.
The finalists will also get professional videos about their projects and exposure through BANK OF AFRICA’s communication channels. They will have the chance to meet business experts, advisers and founders.
The first edition received more than 250 applications and selected 10 finalists for coaching across Morocco.
The programme is aimed at helping early-stage businesses develop their ideas and grow their companies.
