Bank of Africa has launched mobile banking spaces at popular holiday destinations to make it easier for Moroccans living abroad to access banking services while spending the summer in the country. The programme, called Summer Pop Up, will run throughout July at the Agadir Corniche, the centre of Tiznit and Dania Land leisure park.
The temporary spaces are open every day from 10:00 to 22:00 to fit around holiday schedules.
Customers can carry out their usual banking while also getting help in outdoor reception areas. The sites also feature promotional activities backed by a digital communication campaign.
Bank of Africa says the project is designed to bring banking services closer to customers instead of asking them to visit a branch. The bank wants to offer services where people already spend their time during the summer.
Moroccans living abroad are one of the bank’s main customer groups, especially during the summer when many return home for their holidays.
The Summer Pop Up initiative is part of Bank of Africa’s wider plan to make banking more accessible by using new service formats that better match customers’ daily lives and travel habits.
