BANK OF AFRICA teamed up with the Fondation Trophée Marocains du Monde to host the second Economic Forum of Moroccans of the World in Marrakech. The event was held at the Saadi Palace Hotel and focused on investment and innovation. Officials and business leaders met to encourage Moroccans abroad to invest and save in Morocco.
The bank presented financing tools for Moroccans living overseas. The MDM Invest and MDM Tamwil programmes aim to make it easier to get co-funding for projects in priority sectors.
The bank also offers training, networking and expert guidance for entrepreneurs. The Entrepreneurship Club provides free certified training for business owners. Incubation spaces created with universities and schools help mentor future entrepreneurs. An Open Innovation programme supports young startup founders at any stage.
The bank holds yearly regional investment meetings in Morocco and abroad. These meetings connect investors with regional investment centres, ministries and local authorities. They present regional opportunities and incentives for Moroccans living overseas.
