Big ideas, one minute: BANK OF AFRICA launches nationwide pitch challenge

BANK OF AFRICA has teamed up with Mastercard to launch “Elevator Pitch,” a bold new initiative designed to help aspiring Moroccan entrepreneurs take their first real steps toward building a business. The program blends visibility, guidance, and funding to uncover and support emerging talent—whether in cities or rural communities—across all industries.

The mission is straightforward: open up access to entrepreneurship and give anyone with a strong idea the chance to make it heard. Participants simply need to complete an online form and submit a one-minute video that clearly and compellingly presents their project.

From the pool of submissions, ten standout proposals will be selected for a personalized support package. These finalists will receive in-depth coaching to sharpen their pitch, help structuring their business idea, and the production of a high-quality promotional video to showcase their vision. Their work will also be highlighted across BANK OF AFRICA’s communication platforms, giving them valuable exposure. In addition, participants will be connected with financial advisors and industry experts for strategic guidance.

The journey culminates in a live pitch event where the finalists present their ideas to a panel of experts. At the end of the process, three winners will be chosen and awarded a combined total of up to 100,000 dirhams to help bring their projects to life.

Through the Elevator Pitch program, BANK OF AFRICA is making a clear statement: it’s committed to empowering entrepreneurs from all walks of life by creating an inclusive environment where local talent can grow, thrive, and ultimately contribute to a stronger, more self-sufficient economy.
